From the Owner

When I initially started the SUMthing business (while living in Ottawa), the courses were focused on teaching youth basic money management, a skillset that has been lacking for some time.    Once moving to Manitoulin Island there was a need for a different set of courses to be offered, some based on basic money principles, but expanded out to teaching technology to seniors along with a whole host of other classes.

Today I now teach a series of different courses (see the course catalogue), via the townships across Manitoulin Island and area.  These courses, when offered by the township, are free to attend.  When requested by community groups or individuals there is a small fee to attend (with a minimum number of participants required).  I also provided one on one sessions in my private, accessible training centre.  I can also do classes for couples or a small group in the training centre as well. The training centre can handle up to 6 at a time.

I can provide classes to businesses for their staff on how to use the Microsoft suite of products as well.
